Register Today for "Living Phenomenally" Women's Wellness Conference


“Living Phenomenally,” MCC’s 3rd annual women’s wellness conference, will be held 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8 in the Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center. Registrations are appreciated this week.

In addition to a variety of guest presenters from our community, the following MCC faculty and staff will present educational workshops during the conference:

Dorothy Evans, MCC Foundation
Deneen Rhode, Health and Physical Education

The conference is designed to provide women with the practical skills needed to achieve mental, emotional, social and physical wellness. Conference workshops will cover topics such as women's health and self care, introduction to self-defense and boxing, successful financial planning, relationships, professional development and more. Guest speakers will also address the unique relationship parents have with their child's school in recognition of the International Day of Service Parent Involvement in Education workshops.

Participants will also be given opportunities to meet with local health and wellness providers and win raffle and door prizes.

The event is hosted by the MCC Health & Physical Education Department, in partnership with the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Rochester Alumnae Chapter, AAWCC-MCC Chapter and the Tawa Pano Unity Fellowship Church.

A conference brochure is attached below. Registration fee and deadline: $20 by March 1. Registration includes breakfast and lunch.
