Volunteers Needed for Residence Halls Helping Hands

Soon it will be that time of year again, when Housing and Residence Life opens our halls in celebration of the new academic year and the arrival of our residents. It’s a very exciting time and we want you to be a part of it.

How, you ask? By signing up to be a Residence Hall Helping Hand.

Being a Helping Hand means you want to be of the first to welcome our new residents to their home. It’s a time for you to introduce yourself and build strong lasting relationships. Who knows…one of our residents might be in your Biology class, interested in a club you're an officer of, or just may need some pointers on how to organize their string collection; boy, I wish I had someone around to help with my string collection when I was a resident years ago…might not have so many knots, BUT I digress.

Get in on the action and don’t miss our opening day.

Sign up to be a Helping Hand on our website to reserve an official Residence Hall Helping Hands T-shirt and to be counted as one of the proud. We hope to have a full roster of Hands by August 30.

SIGN UP AT : <<https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/reshalls/volunteerform.htm>>

The fun starts at 9:30 am, September 3, 2006.

Trust me…you’ll want to be a part of it. (And, hey…if you can’t trust me, who can you trust?)

WATCH FOR OTHER TRIBUNE ANNOUNCEMENTS REGARDING HELPING HANDS.
