Dolores Pasto-Ziobro, Institutional Compliance Officer & Internal Auditor, coordinated and facilitated a session on Tobacco-Free Initiatives at the NYS Community College Business Officers (CCBOA) spring 2013 conference in Watkins Glen, N.Y.
Panel participants included Ty Patterson, National Center for Tobacco Policy; Sheldon Malev, Westchester Community College; Julie Teed, Corning Community College and Scott McIntosh, University of Rochester Medical Center. This well-received presentation was due to great insight provided by the panelists. The session generated lively discussion on best practices and lessons learned in implementing a tobacco-free policy on college campuses.
