Animal Assisted Interventions Presentation and Demonstration

The Psychology and Human Service Clubs will be hosting a presentation and demonstration on “Animal Assisted Interventions.”  Topics will include Best Practices, Exercises with Dogs, and Screening Dogs for Temperament.  A short video will be shown on how dogs are used in therapy sessions.  Participants will be able to meet Albert and Buddy, two highly trained dogs that are used in therapy.  Presenters, Gail Furst and Mike Fiorella, will show us how Albert motivates and inspires to help an individual reach her goals.

This presentation will be offered on Monday, April 20 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in room 4193, Community Room, Damon City Campus.
