Arthurian Myth Revisited


Please join MCC’s Celtic Society on 25 February at 6 p.m. in 12-129 for a F-R-E-E screening and discussion of THE MISTS OF AVALON. 

“Based on the bestseller by Marion Zimmer Bradley, [THE MISTS OF AVALON] tells the story of the women behind King Arthur; including his mother, Igraine; his half-sister, Morgaine; his aunt Viviane, the Lady of the Lake; and his wife, Gwenwyfar” (IMBD).

Free pizza and soda will be provided. 

Throughout the academic year, you can catch screenings and discussions of a number of Celtic-related films. Each is free, open to the community, and begins at 6 p.m. in 12-129.

8 April             THE WAY (Galicia)

6 May              STONE OF DESTINY (Scotland)

Celtic Society’s purpose is to raise awareness of the Celtic Nations (Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales) and diaspora. It aims to share and celebrate Celtic culture with the college community. Celtic Society welcomes all students, faculty, and employees, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.
