HSMI is hosting a seminar on Homegrown Terrorism on Monday, June 6th from 8AM-Noon at the Public Safety Training Center. The seminar is led by Dr. James Forest, a national speaker who formerly was the Director of Terrorism Studies at West Point Military Academy and is a senior fellow with the Joint Special Operations University.
The presentation covers the Models of Leaderless Resistance in the U.S. and the proliferation of right-wing militias, the current ideology of Al Qaida and the Modern Evolution of the Al Qaida-related Homegrown Terrorist Threat.
HSMI is offering a limited number of free scholarships to MCC staff, students and faculty.
