The health care field offers a wide range of exciting and secure careers. Students interested in a career in healthcare, are no doubt exploring options for their future. The faculty and staff at the SUNY Upstate Medical University are offering an opportunity to explore a health profession in a clinical setting.
Through this program, students will be paired one-on-one with a health care professional in one of the following fields:
● Cardiovascular Perfusion ● Medical Biotechnology ● Physical Therapy
● Cytotechnology ● Medical Technology ● Radiation Therapy
● Medical Imaging Sciences ● Nursing ● Respiratory Therapy
Students will join professionals on the job as they pursue their daily activities, seeing patients or working in the labs. The Shadow Day ends with a reception where students can meet faculty, employees and current students in our programs.
