Romance Readers Group Invites New Members to Join

The members of the new Romance Readers Group are continuing with their exploration of time travel.  So far, they've considered whether they'd go back in time if they could and the difficulties women would face if they did.

The group will first wrap up Jude Deveraux's Knight in Shining Armor, which is set in 1988 and in 1560, when they meet around noon on Tuesday, Nov. 15, in Room 440 of the Brighton Campus library.

Then, the group will follow Claire Randall, who, according to the inside flap of Outlander, "is leading a double life.  She has a husband in one century, and a lover in another."  Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 22, the members will spend several weeks discussing Diana Gabaldon's epic.

Both novels are on five-day reserve in the LeRoy V. Good Library.  The group is open to all MCC students, staff, and faculty.  Meetings are on most Tuesdays around noon, and lunches are allowed in the library's faculty study room.
