Advisement Volunteers Needed for Residence Halls

Are you looking for an advising opportunity to ease residence hall students’ anxiety about registering and work toward your 15-hour advisement contractual obligation? The HALL (Helping All Live and Learn) Committee is inviting faculty and staff to join us in registering Liberal Arts students for Summer and Fall 2005.

The HALL Committee consists of faculty, staff and residence hall students who are all trying to meet the needs of this special part of our community.

We will be advising and registering Liberal Arts residence hall students only in Pioneer Hall. We will be setting up laptops, a printer and all of the advising resources including an academic advisement professional on site. Registering will occur at the following dates and times:

Tuesday, March 22 – 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (students must have 20+ credits for registration that day)
Wednesday, March 23 – 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (students must have 20+ credits for registration that day)
Wednesday, March 30 – 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (all current liberal arts students can register that day)
Thursday, March 31 – 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (all current liberal arts students can register that day)
To register for a time slot so that you can assist these students and meet your advisement requirement, call Liz Pierce (English/Philosophy) ext. 3303, or e-mail epierce@monroecc.edu
