Stressed out? Try relaxing with sticks and string!

Last week you were invited to learn to knit with friends on Wednesdays from noon to 1pm.  We had a fun group of people attend.  There are no professionals in the room.  Just knitters at various levels of expertise (including those who have never held a needle in their lives).  It is  great way to make new friends, enjoy interesting conversations and create something beautiful.  The holidays are coming ......

Knitting is a great sociological experience.  Chemists knit differently than Mathematicians.  Mathematicians knit differently than advisors. Advisors knit differently than athletes. Registrars knit differently than faculty.

Go to your smartphone.  Get a coupon for one of the big box craft stores.  Buy some yarn in a pretty color and needles that feel good.  And meet us in the PAC Conference Center (Building 10, Room 182) at noon on Wednesday.  (Every Wednesday this term) Come in stressed.  Exit relaxed and creative.

We'll bring cookies.
