Human Services Students Reach Out to Outreach Van

About 35 students in the Human Services Department toured an outreach van that serves youth in the community. The Center for Youth Services parks the van in various locations around the city to provide walk-in services for homeless youth, including basic medical care and a food cupboard.

The tour and subsequent learning opportunity about the center's outreach work, emergency shelter and transitional living program were part of the Nov. 17 "On Any Given Night" program, sponsored by the Human Service Club at Damon City Campus.
