The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Board of Trustees has selected MCC Foundation President Brenda Babitz to join the CASE Commission on Philanthropy. She was among 20 advancement professionals chosen from a pool of over 170 candidates. Other newly selected commission members represent colleges such as the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, Northwestern University and Johns Hopkins University.
The CASE Commission on Philanthropy frames and directs research to examine and evaluate professional practices and to develop and monitor programs and services in development. The commission ensures that practices reflect current knowledge, emerging issues and trends and the highest ethical and professional standards.
