We are happy to announce that Karen Chin has been hired as a Specialist in the Internal Audit Office. Karen holds a A.S. degree in Business Administration from MCC, B.S. in Accounting from SUNY Brockport and is currently working on obtaining certification in internal auditing.
Many of you already know Karen as she has been with the college for 12 years beginning employment as a Payroll Technician. During her time in the Payroll Office, Karen was recognized for her strong financial, leadership and customer service skill set. She also has an in-depth knowledge of the Banner computing system and is skilled in developing effective work processes.
Karen received both the MCC Employee Recognition Award and the Administrative Services Award for excellence in professional service. We are fortunate to have her energy, depth of knowledge and fresh ideas.
