College and Community Book Review


The Rochester Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Monroe Community College Diversity Council invite you to join our book review and discussion on the book, “The New Jim Crow” by Michelle Alexander. The review will be held Tuesday, October 28, 6 to 8 pm, in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe A&B).

Community leaders will explore the issues of mass incarceration of African American males. We will discuss factors that support underlying systemic dynamics that may contribute to the historical and present day incarceration rates and the social health of our overall community.
