NUR 150 APPLICATION OF THE NURSING PROCESS is required for transfer students, students admitted with advanced standing, and students returning to the program.
Any deviation from the basic program of study requires written approval by the department.
NOTE: Current CRP Certification for two person professional rescuer, which includes infant, child, adult and resuscitation mask, is required for all students. American Heart Association, American Red Cross is acceptable. Clinical Agency Certification is not acceptable. Proof of certification must be submitted to the department at least one month prior to starting the program. Students need to complete any TRS or ESL courses prior to enrollment in the program. The program of study must be completed within five years of matriculation.
#A grade of 'C' required in all Nursing courses for continued matriculation. No student may progress to the next nursing course level without successful completion of all courses in previous level. Readmission, transfer into program, or repeating any nursing course requires departmental approval. A student who fails to achieve a grade of ‘C’ or better in 2 clinical nursing courses will be considered ineligible to continue in the Nursing program without approval from the Nursing Dept.
