DESCRIPTION:\nAs part of this year's TCC theme "Knowing Our Students," the Damon City Campus Teaching & Creativity Center \nwill be exploring yet another group of students&#8230; Veterans in Our Classrooms \n\nThis conversation will be presented in two parts. Come to one or both, whatever meets your needs. \n\nPart 1 \nHow many veterans are in our MCC classrooms? What are the special needs of veterans and their spouses? How are MCC and our local community supporting these students? Dr. Pat Taricone, a veterans specialist in the Counseling and Advisement Center, will address these issues so that participants have a better understanding of the increasing numbers of veterans in our classrooms.\n\nWhere: Damon City Campus, room 5124 \nWhen: Wednesday, November 11th from 12 noon until 12:50 \nFacilitator: Eileen Lanzafame (TRS) \nFeel free to bring your lunch.
