FOREIGN LANGUAGE: Geneseo requires an intermediate level foreign language (103), or four (4) units of same language in high school through Level IV, and one year beyond the Regents exam, and a grade of 85% or better on the Regents exam.  Or, a score of 4 or better on the advanced placement examination in a foreign language, or equivalent coursework with a minimum grade of C- transferred from another college.
 NOTE: For Education Majors only, American Sign Language (ASL)can be taken to fulfill the Foreign Language requirement . Geneseo does not offer Intermediate Level ASL. See Education Department Chairperson for Course Substitution/Waiver(s).

The Liberal Arts & Sciences: Early Childhood Education (Teacher Education Transfer) A.A. (EE01) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
This program will take more than four semesters to complete at SUNY Geneseo as additional education courses are required for this dual certification program.
Total = 66 credit hours required for EE35 degree. 2.00 CQPA minimum for graduation. F grades do not fulfill requirement. 24 credit hours in residence = courses completed at MCC.
