Medical Office Transcription

Students will use medical terminology and keyboarding skills in transcribing medical documents for major medical fields. Emphasis on accuracy, document formatting, grammar principles, production, and understanding of the responsibilities and competencies of the medical office support staff. Three class hours.

Prerequisites

HIM 104 and OFT 111 and OFT 141.
