Mission
Building and renewing our Curriculum is our highest priority
As a comprehensive community, MCC offers
a wide variety of programs to serve the diverse educational needs of
Monroe County residents. The College is authorized by the New York State
Board of Regents to award three degrees: the associate in arts (AA),
the associate in science (AS), and the associate in applied science
(AAS). Transfer degrees have programs in liberal arts (AA and AS), while
programs in business administration, communication and media arts, computer
information systems, computer science, engineering science, performing
arts (music), office technology, and physical education lead to the
AS degree.
To meet the growing need for employee
training and education in the Monroe County area, MCC offers a variety
of programs, both non-credit and credit, to companies and organizations
to increase the skill level of area employees.
The Office of Curriculum and Program Development strives to facilitate faculty innovation and academic improvement by streamlining the processes through which our curriculum is developed, assessed, reviewed, and revised. |
