MCC offers an Early Admission Program for qualified
high school students, who may benefit by beginning college earlier than
their scheduled college entry date. Candidates must demonstrate strong
academic preparation through the 11th grade and meet the course prerequisites
for the particular program. They must also be recommended by their high
school counselor, successfully complete a placement exam and complete
an interview with an Admissions Office counselor.
Students accepted into MCC’s Early Admission
Program are admitted to a specific degree program on a full-time basis
at MCC before completing the formal coursework for their high school
diploma. Successful completion of their freshman year at MCC and prior
agreement with their high school entitles the student to their high
school diploma.
Students may apply for early admission to all
programs except Dental Hygiene, Nursing, and Radiological
Technology.
Please note: Early Admission
students are not eligible to receive Federal Title IV Financial Aid.
