Fast Forward to Your Bachelor’s Degree.
In addition to our Roberts Wesleyan program, MCC has relationships with several local and out-of-state colleges that let you get your bachelor’s degree through non-traditional channels. Most of these four-year colleges accept additional MCC credits and apply them toward a bachelor’s degree at their institution.
Capella University
An agreement between MCC and Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota allows students with an Associate’s degree to make a seamless transition into Capella University’s online Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) programs in Business and Information Technology. You will be admitted as a third-year student. There are areas of specialization which you can select under these two degree programs, including E-Business, Entrepreneurship Management and Leadership, Network Technologies, and Web Application Development. You may earn additional credits beyond the MCC Associate’s degree and apply them to Capella’s two Bachelor’s degree programs offered to MCC students. Advisement through Capella will be required.
Charter Oak State College
Charter Oak State College, a credentialing organization and unit of the State University of Connecticut, allows MCC Associate’s degree graduates to continue their education at MCC and transfer up to 90 credits towards a Bachelor’s degree at Charter Oak. There are no restrictions on where you earn the additional 30 credits needed for the Bachelor’s degree except that they must be through an accredited four-year college/university. At least 15 of the 30 credits must be at the upper (junior/senior) level. A Bachelor’s degree is available in Liberal Arts with a concentration in over 30 areas. Certain Charter Oak fees apply in addition to the tuition costs that you incur at the college where your courses are taken.
