MCC baseball off to Districts
ROCHESTER - The MCC baseball team, fresh off its fourth straight Region III title and 19th overall, will take part in the NJCAA East District Tournament this weekend at Rockland Community College in Suffern, NY.
The Tribunes are 34-12. At stake this weekend is a trip to the NJCAA Division II World Series May 24-30 in Millington, Tenn. Here is this weekend's schedule:
Friday, May 9
Game 1: Mercer County CC vs. UConn-Avery Point - 1 p.m.
Game 2: Monroe CC vs. Sullivan County CC - 4 p.m.
Saturday, May 10
Game 3: Loser Game vs. Loser Game 2 - 10 a.m.
Game 4: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 - 1 p.m.
Game 5: Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4 - 4 p.m.
Sunday, May 11
Game 6: Winner Game 4 vs. winner Game 5 - 11 a.m.
Game 7: If necessary - 2 p.m.
