MCC leads after day one of regionals

CORTLAND, NY - The MCC golf team is in the lead after the first day of the Region III Tournament at Cortland Country Club.

The Tribunes fired a team score of 302 and sit nine strokes ahead of second-place Genesee CC.  The final round is Tuesday.

Anthony Colosi (Rush, NY/Rush-Henrietta) fired a 1-over 73 and is one stroke off the overall lead for Monroe.  Shane Dobesh (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) was right behind with a 74.

Mike Catalano (Syracuse, NY/Cicero-No. Syracuse) carded a 77, Alex McKee (Newmarket, ON/Sir William Mulock) shot a 78, and Tim McCall (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) a 79 for MCC.
