Tribunes tie Cornell JV
ROCHESTER - The MCC hockey team battled to a 6-6 tie with the Cornell JV squad Friday night in a tune-up for next weekend's national tournament.
The Tribunes are 17-4-2 on the season and will be the top seed at nationals. Monroe has one more tune-up Tuesday evening against the RIT JVs at the ESL Centre.
Sophomore captain Matt Peck (Chili, NY/Gates Chili) had two goals for MCC. Brendan Prince (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena) also scored twice.
Andy Orsini (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit) chipped in with a goal and an assist.
