Long layoff doesn't slow Tribunes
BINGHAMTON - Not even a 10-day layoff could slow down the MCC hockey team Wednesday evening, as the Tribunes rolled to an 11-0 victory over host Broome CC in a Region III contest.
Matt McNeil (Greece, NY/Greece Athena) had a huge game for Monroe, registering three goals and three assists. That was more than enough offensive support for goalie AJ Graziano (Greece, NY/Greece Athena).
Graziano stopped 11 shots for the shutout in his first collegiate start. One of the saves came on a penalty shot to keep Broome off the board.
Chris O'Connor (Greece, NY/Greece Athena) added two goals and two assists for the Tribunes. Taylor Hill (Geneseo, NY/Geneseo) chipped in with a pair of goals.
MCC is 4-1-1 on the season.
