Orsini, McNeil spark victory
ROCHESTER - Andy Orsini (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit) and Matt McNeil (Greece, NY/Greece Athena) had two goals and an assist apiece as the MCC hockey team defeated the RIT JVs 9-1 Tuesday.
The Tribunes now head to the national tournament at SUNY Canton, where they will play the winner of Canton and Mohawk Valley at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Danny Kuntz (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) made 16 saves in goal for MCC, which finishes the regular season 18-4-2.
Matt Sauer (Walworth, NY/McQuaid) and Matt Peck (Chili, NY/Gates Chili) chipped in with a goal and an assist each.
