MCC men's lax tops FLCC
ROCHESTER - The MCC men's lacrosse team snapped a three-game losing streak Monday evening, defeating visiting Finger Lakes CC 21-8 on DiMarco Field.
The Tribunes (2-3) led just 6-5 after the Lakers scored with 8:42 left in the second  quarter. MCC then responded by scoring four unanswered before halftime and never looked back.
Lantz Carter (Baltimore, MD/Northwestern) scored five goals to lead the Tribune attack. Mike Barilla (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) added four goals.
Mark Dwyer (Nantucket, MA/Nantucket) chipped in with three goals, while Kurt Detwiler (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) had two goals and one assist. Dan Hinderland (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) and Jake Fricano (Fairport, NY/Fairport) had two goals apiece.
Matt McShea (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) made 15 saves in goal.
