Essex rallies past Monroe
ROCHESTER - The MCC men's lacrosse team jumped out to an early lead, but CCBC-Essex rallied for a 16-13 victory on DiMarco Field.
The Tribunes led 5-1 early in the second quarter and were up 13-11 midway through the fourth before Essex responded with five straight goals to close out the game.
Lantz Carter (Baltimore, MD/Northwestern) had a huge game for the Tribunes (2-1). The sophomore had six goals and one assist to pace the attack. Chris McWilliams (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua) and Nate Delone (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) added two goals apiece.
