MCC men's lax falls in regional semifinals
HERKIMER, NY - MCC raced to a 3-0 lead but couldn't hold off top-seeded Herkimer CCC, falling 19-8 in the semifinals of the Region III tournament.
Lantz Carter (Baltimore, MD/Northwestern) scored two goals and Jake Fricano (Fairport, NY/Fairport) added one as the Tribunes (10-6) jumped out to the early lead. But the Generals scored the next 14 goals to take control.
Dan Hinderland (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) finished with three goals for MCC. Fricano had two goals and one assist and Carter scored twice.
