MCC men's lax whips Genesee
ROCHESTER - The MCC men's lacrosse team wrapped up the regular season on Sunday, defeating visiting Genesee CC 21-4.
The Tribunes led the Cougars 17-1 at halftime. Monroe is 8-3 in Region III play and 9-5 overall.
Mike Barilla (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) had a big game with six goals and one assist for MCC. Cory Bottiglier (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit) added two goals and four assists, while Lantz Carter (Baltimore, MD/Northwestern) had two goals and two assists.
Todd Laemlein (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit) finished with two goals and one assist, and Dan Hinderland (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) and Glen Stevenson (Phelps, NY/Midlakes) had two goals each.
