MCC routs Broome
ROCHESTER - The MCC men's lacrosse team ended a two-game skid in big fashion Tuesday afternoon, defeating Broome CC 19-5 on John L. DiMarco Field.
Swan Skidders (Akwesasne Mohawk Reserve/Salmon River) had a big day for the Tribunes (4-4), notching seven goals. Three of his goals came in the second quarter as Monroe opened a 9-2 halftime lead.
Nate Delone (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) added three goals and one assist while Jesse Corriveau (Cornwall, ON/Cornwall) had two goals and one helper.
Mark Dwyer (Montego Bay, Jamaica/Nantucket) and Nick Mooney (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) had two goals apiece for the Tribunes. Lantz Carter (Baltimore, MD/Northwestern) chipped in with a goal and four assists.
Colin Davis (Brighton, NY/Brighton) and Andrew Smith (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit) added single goals.
