MCC tops Mohawk Valley
ROCHESTER - Ten different players scored goals as the MCC men's lacrosse team defeated visiting Mohawk Valley CC 20-3 Saturday afternoon on John L. DiMarco Field.
Todd Laemlein (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit) led the way with four goals and one assist for the Tribunes (5-4). Mike Barilla (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) added three goals and three assists.
Matt McShea (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) and Ryan Konko (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport) manned the cage for MCC, coming up with eight saves between them.
Lantz Carter (Baltimore/Northwestern) added three goals and two assists for Monroe. Dan Hinderland (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) had three goals and one assist, while Jake Fricano (Fairport, NY/Fairport) had two goals and one assist. Kurt Detwiler (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) had two goals.
