Cuyahoga knocks off Monroe
ROCHESTER - Cuyahoga Community College tallied two first-half goals and went on to a 3-1 victory over host Monroe CC Saturday afternoon.
CCC scored in the 23rd minute for a 1-0 lead and added a big goal just three and a half minutes before the break.
Jeff Durosier (Port-au-Prince, Haiti/Ramapo) got the Tribunes back within one with a goal three minutes into the second half. But Cuyahoga restored the two-goal lead with a score of its own just 2:26 later.
Anthony Pipitone (Scottsville, NY/Wheatland-Chili) made four saves in the net for MCC (3-2-1).
