Herkimer shuts out Tribunes
ROCHESTER - The Herkimer County CC Generals scored once once in the first half and twice more in the second half to defeat Monroe Community College 3-0 in men's soccer Saturday.
Herkimer, ranked No. 2 in the NJCAA Division III poll, improved to 14-1-2 on the season. MCC falls to 4-7-1.
Some excellent ball movement lead to Herkimer's first goal in the game's 12th minute. The Generals then added another score just after halftime and one more in the 61st minute to round out the scoring.
Davion Bailey (Brooklyn, NY/James Madison) made 10 saves for the Tribunes.
