MCC breaks out against NCCC
ROCHESTER - Moses Watkis (St. Elizabeth Jamaica/South Kent) scored four goals, all in the first half, to lead the MCC men's soccer team to an 8-2 victory over Niagara County CC Tuesday afternoon on DiMarco Field.
With the win, the Tribunes (5-7-1) brought to an end a five-game losing streak. Monroe closes out the regular season at Mercyhurst North East Saturday afternoon.
Andy Vanderhoof (Chili, NY/Gates Chili) added two first-half goals for MCC, which lead 7-0 at the break. Jeff Durosier (Port-au-Prince, Haiti/Ramapo) also scored twice and also had an assist.
Goalie Davion Bailey (Brooklyn, NY/James Madison) made three saves.
