Men's soccer places six on All-Region team
ROCHESTER - The MCC men's soccer team placed six players on the 2007 Region III men's soccer All-Region team.
Stephen Coke (Bronx, NY/Taft), a sophomore forward, was named the Region III Player of the Year. Coke led MCC with 16 goals and 36 points on the season.

Joining Coke on the team were midfielders Shastri Spencer (Cresco, PA/Notre Dame) and Roberto Zevallos (Las Vegas/Palo Verde), forward Dom Colaprete (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport), defender Ian McGimsey (Brighton, NY/Brighton) and goalkeeper Tim Knight (Greece, NY/Greece Olympia).
Spencer had three goals and three assists on the season, while Zevallos tallied one goal and six assists.
Colaprete had a big year with seven goals and eight assists, and McGimsey had two assists and provided tough defense.
Knight had an outstanding season in goal, allowing just seven goals in 830 minutes. He was named MVP of the Region III tournament after stopping 14 shots in a 1-0 victory over Bryant & Stratton.
MCC went 13-3-2 on the season and reached the championship game of the Northeast District tournament.
