Emerllahu scores four times in rout
ROCHESTER - Faton Emerllahu (Macedon, NY/Palmyra-Macedon) scored four goals and added an assist as the MCC men's soccer team defeated Erie CC 12-0 Wednesday afternoon on John L. DiMarco Field.
Emerllahu scored once in the first half as Monroe built a 6-0 lead. The freshman forward then added three more in the second half to cap the huge day.
Dom Colaprete (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport) had another big game with two goals and an assist while Chris Cortez (Brant Lake, NY/North Warren) also scored twice.
Stephen Coke (Bronx, NY/Taft) had one goal, as did John Dykes (Honeoye Falls, NY/HF-L), Pat DiSano (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport), and Niclas Kristensen (Frederikssund, Denmark/Handelsskole).
Tim Knight (Greece, NY/Greece Olympia) and Joshua Ganskop (Williamson, NY/Williamson) made one save apiece in goal for Monroe (5-1).
