Winter leads MCC to victory

PHOENIX - The Monroe Community College men's soccer team kicked off the 2011 season with a 2-1 victory over GateWay Community College Friday evening.

Cody Winter (North Rose, NY/North Rose-Wolcott) was the catalyst for the Tribunes, finishing with a goal and an assist.

Monroe (1-0) wraps up its west coast swing with a match with Mesa Community College Monday.
