Grace named Player of the Year
ROCHESTER - Sophomore pitcher Lindsey Grace (Honeoye, NY/Honeoye) was named the Region III, Division III Player of the Year.
Grace was joined on the All-Region first team by Samantha Disinger (Lockport, NY/Lockport). Making the second team was Gabby Elsbree (Albany, NY/Academy of the Holy Names).
Grace finished the regular season with a 20-2 record and an ERA of 0.97. She struck out 159 batters and walked just 19 in 137 innings.
Disinger led Monroe with a .560 batting average during the regular season and added six home runs and 52 RBIs. Elsbree hit .496 with five homers and 55 RBIs
