MCC win streak reaches 25 games
JAMESTOWN, NY - The MCC softball team continued to roll Tuesday afternoon, defeating Jamestown CC 7-0 and 5-3 to run its winning streak to 25 games. The Tribunes are 33-9 overall and 18-0 in Region III.
Amanda Page (Batavia, NY/Batavia) went 3-for-4 with four RBIs in game one. Sam Rollins (Hornell, NY/Hornell) added two hits and an RBI. Chelsey Cary (Pembroke, NY/Pembroke) gave up three hits and struck out five for the win.
Cary went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to pace MCC in the nightcap. Stephanie Wagar (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) had two his and two runs scored.
Jackie Dean (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) went the distance to get the win.
