MCC finishes 5-1 at OCC
SYRACUSE - The MCC volleyball team wrapped a successful weekend, going 5-1 and reaching the semifinals at the Onondaga CC Tournament.
The Tribunes went 4-0 in pool play before defeating Mohawk Valley CC 2-0 in the quarterfinals. Monroe then fell in two games to Alfred State in the semifinals.
Sarah Kuperus (Newark, NY/Newark) was named to the All-Tournament team for MCC (9-9). The sophomore middle hitter totaled 45 kills and 15 blocks.
Symphony Samuels (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) chipped in with 28 kills and 13 blocks for the Tribunes.
