MCC women win 10th in a row

ROCHESTER - A swarming MCC defense forced 33 turnovers as the Tribunes picked up their 10th straight victory, an 83-55 win over Alfred State Tuesday evening.

Monroe moved to 15-3 with the win.  The team hasn't lost since Nov. 12.

Ivory James (Camden, NJ/Woodrow Wilson) connected on four 3-pointers and had a team-high 18 points to go along with five steals for the Tribunes, who also held a 41-28 advantage on the glass.

Sehmonyeh Allen (Freehold, NJ/Neptune) chipped in with 17 points off the bench, and Ayana Bradley (Syracuse, NY/Corcoran) added 12 points, 13 rebounds, and three steals.

Shan-tasia Padgett (Roselle, NJ/Abraham Clark) finished with 11 points and eight rebounds, and Courtney Brown (New Haven, CT/Hillhouse) had eight points and nine rebounds.
