Balanced attack leads Monroe
ROCHESTER - Brittany Hilliard (Washington, D.C./Theodore Roosevelt) led three players in double figures with 12 and everyone on the MCC roster scored as the Tribunes topped Niagara County CC 77-40 Thursday.
MCC is 18-7 on the season and finish a perfect 12-0 in Western New York Athletic Conference play.
Monroe hit 13 3-pointers on the game. Hilliard hit four of them and Lacey Lane (Winter Park, FL/Winter Park) had three.
Caila Desroches (Oyster Bay, NY/John Glenn) had 10 points and 10 rebounds for MCC. Keona Jones (Brooklyn, NY/Grand Street) had 10 points and nine boards and Kamiel Brown (Jamaica, NY/South Shore) added nine points, nine rebounds, and four assists.
MCC outrebounded the Trail Blazers 60-32 on the game.
