MCC drops regional foe Mercyhurst

NORTH EAST, PA - The MCC women's soccer team overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Mercyhurst North East 3-1 Wednesday afternoon.

 

The Lady Tribunes moved to 8-1-1 with the win, including 1-0 in regional play. Monroe is unbeaten in its last eight games.

 

Alison Campbell (Marion, NY/Marion) scored two second-half goals to lead the comeback.  Karly Tolentino (Greece, NY/Greece Odyssey) added a goal and an assist over the final 45 minutes as MCC overcame a 1-0 deficit at the break.

 

Brittani Bove (Marion, NY/Marion) and Dana Fichera (Rochester, NY/Gates Chili) added assists for Monroe.
