Lady Tribunes improve to 5-0
ROCHESTER - The MCC women's soccer team, ranked No. 2 in this week's NJCAA Division I national poll, defeated Genesee CC 6-1 for its fifth straight win to start the season.
Veronica Santiago (Rochester, NY/Aquinas) continued her great start with Monroe, tallying three goals and an assist to pace the attack.
Vanessa Gillette (Fredonia, NY/Fredonia) scored twice for the Tribunes. Anne Beinetti (Honeoye Falls, NY/Homeschool) chipped in with one goal and one assist.
The Tribunes hit the road for a regional contest at Mercyhurst North East this Saturday at 1 p.m.
