Lady Tribunes continue to roll
ROCHESTER - The MCC women's soccer team improved its record to 11 wins without a loss Tuesday, topping Herkimer County CC 4-0 on John L. DiMarco Field.
Vanessa Gillette (Fredonia, NY/Fredonia) had two goals to lead the Tribunes, who are ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA Division I national poll.
Anne Beinetti (Honeoye Falls, NY/Homeschooled) added a goal and an assist, while Sarah Petrie (Oswego, NY/Oswego) also found the back of the net.
Veronica Santiago (Rochester, NY/Aquinas), Ashley Magar (Churchville, NY/Churchville-Chili), and Jessica Andres (Honeoye, NY/Honeoye) all added assists for Monroe.
Rachel Popowych (Hamlin, NY/Brockport) made one save for the shutout.
