MCC stays undefeated with victory
ROCHESTER - The MCC women's soccer team continued its perfect roll to start the season, defeating the Community College of Rhode Island 6-0 Saturday afternoon at Homecoming.
The Tribunes, ranked No. 2 in the NJCAA Division I poll, shut out a tough CCRI team to improve to 5-0 on the season.
Casey Reinhardt (Hilton, NY/Hilton) had two goals and an assist to pace the Monroe attack. Tia Begy (Livonia, NY/Livonia) also had two goals and an assist, while Leighana Krzyzanowski (Ontario, NY/Wayne) and Lindsey Cote (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls) also scored. Deanna DiNardo (Churchville, NY/Churchville-Chili) added two assists.
Kimika Forbes (Plymouth, Trinidad/Scarborough) made five saves to pick up her second straight shutout.
