Late rally lifts MCC past Cincinnati
CINCINNATI - The MCC women's soccer team scored two late goals, including the game-winner by Casey Reinhardt (Rochester, NY/Hilton) with about five minutes remaining, to defeat Cincinnati State 3-2 Sunday afternoon.
The Tribunes (2-0) trailed 2-1 late in the second half before Courtney Hilliker (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South) scored unassisted to tie the game with 10 minutes remaining.
The teams played scoreless soccer for the next five minutes until Leighana Krzyzanowski (Ontario, NY/Wayne) found Reinhardt for the eventual game-winner.
Reinhardt also assisted on MCC's first goal, which was scored by Maura Martin (Chili, NY/Gates Chili).
Rachel Murphy (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) made three saves in the net for Monroe.
