Tribunes head to Districts (May 7, 2008)

MCC, fresh off its fourth straight Region III title and 19th overall, will take part in the NJCAA East District Tournament this weekend at Rockland Community College in Suffern, NY.

The MCC baseball team continued unprecedented run of Region III, Division II championships, defeating Mercyhurst North East 2-1 Sunday for the school's fourth straight title.

Brownsten, Kaplan, Urckfitz, sign letters of intent (Nov. 21, 2007)

Three MCC baseball players have signed letters of intent and will continue their baseball careers at NCAA Division I colleges.

Bailey steps down as head baseball coach (July 17, 2007)

Skip Bailey, head coach of the MCC baseball team for the past 11 seasons, has stepped down from the coaching ranks.  Bailey will focus on his role as the college’s associate athletic director. Assistant Mike Kelly will take over as head coach.

MCC Baseball - 2007 Region III, Division II Champions


The Monroe Community College baseball program has won more than 1,100 games in over 40 years of existence.  The Tribunes have captured 18 regional championships (including 2007), five District championships, and have made five NJCAA World Series appearances.

MCC has had over 60 All-Americans and many players have been drafted by Major League teams, including Greg Keagle, who pitched for the Detroit Tigers, and Tim Redding, who is currently a starting pitcher with the Washington Nationals.
