Former Monroe Tribune Cory Brownsten was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 15th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft.

Head Coach Mike Kelly earned his 100th career victory as MCC rallied for the win.

The MCC baseball team is in Florida for its annual spring trip.
The Monroe Community College baseball program has won more than 1,200 games in over 40 years of existence. The Tribunes have captured 20 regional championships (including 2009), six District championships, and have made six NJCAA World Series appearances.
MCC has had over 60 All-Americans and many players have been drafted by Major League teams, including Greg Keagle, who pitched for the Detroit Tigers, and Tim Redding, who is currently with the New York Mets.
