Tribunes off to hot start (March 8, 2009)
The MCC men’s lacrosse team started the season on a great note, winning twice over the weekend.
The lacrosse program at Monroe Community College started in the early 1970's as a club program. It faded out and started up again in 1989. Since then, the lacrosse team has made seven trips to the regional playoffs. In 2000, 2001, and 2004, the Tribunes advanced to the national tournament finishing their seasons in the semifinal round.
